The World’s Largest Valentine’s Day Choir
February 7th, 2007 divyab

Valentine’s Day is a very polarizing holiday. You either love it or you hate it. So as a great social experiment, Jamglue has decided to hold the ultimate duel: who feels more strongly about Valentine’s Day — the lovers, or the haters?
We have put together two internet choirs, each singing their own rendition of “Oh my darling, Clementine, with the lyrics updated to express their true feelings. All you have to do is choose a choir (or both!), and use the recorder to sing the verses. You’ll be automatically added into the choir!
Keep checking the Jamglue homepage for the running tally of which side is winning. Once the choirs build some momentum, we will add a feature to let you send versions of these recordings as Valentine’s Cards, so after you contribute, be sure to check back next week for sending options.
In an attempt to prove to you guys that even the talentless can do this, here are the contributions by the Jamglue team:
By the way, for those of you wondering about the odd choice of song, it’s because its slim pickings when you’re looking for ultra-familiar tunes in the Public Domain. Hopefully Gautam’s awesome relyricing spices it up enough to get your backend shaking…or at least your fingers tapping.
