One of the best parts of working on Jamglue is listening to the music that our users are making. Our web community is still in its infancy, and we’re constantly working to improve our tools, but our stellar beta users have already produced some great work that I’d like to show off:
This is a feel-good mix with a spoken story over some sweet Rhodes piano.
This mix puts some great Mike Tyson and James Bond clips over a funk track.
This is a sweet jungle mix that a user in California made using tracks contributed by users in Seattle and Calgary.
This one really feels like a movie soundtrack to me. Lots of interesting sounds come together to paint a vivid image.
What do all these mixes have in common? They’re catchy, and they were made by the combined efforts of people who don’t know each other! I’m really excited to see that people are collaborating freely and implicitly, without having to coordinate with one another. And you can continue the trend; if you hear something you like, try remixing it to make your own version.
This is intended to be the first of many posts that highlight cool new Jamglue music. Stay tuned for more!
